What are we looking for?

Entrepreneurs with an idea, in the pre-launch period and in need for support on tech, business or go-to-market

HOW STARTUP HUB WORK?

  • Program

    Startup Hub is a program for entrepreneurs and early stage startups in retail and connecting branches. The program consists of a series of workshops, mentoring hours and support meetings based on the goals set together in the beginning of the program. Our activities and support will be tailored on your needs, with the aim to develop a long term partnership.We don't want to burden the startups with unnecessary activities, but instead to focus on work that helps.

    We will facilitate access to our offices, knowledge and employees which can help with feedback and connections.

  • Agreement

    After we receive your application, we will get back to you and in the process of selection, we will align together on expectations, common goals to be achieved during our program. These goals will vary a lot depending on your status and needs.

  • How much time will it take to participate?

    The program will start officially on the 6th of May and will take place until August/September depending on evolution pace each of the startups in the program will have.

    We will have weekly meetings either for workshops, mentoring or progress checks, the meetings will last between 2 to 4 hours depending on the needs.

  • Milestones and objectives

    During the selection process we will talk about milestones and objectives on our collaboration time. They can be related to product, growth, investment or anything else you consider relevant.

  • Investment and equity

    We don’t offer investment upfront and we don’t take equity in the first phase. We want first to see how we work together, how your team functions and how fast can you move and afterwards we can discuss investment/equity also.

  • What is the application process?

    First step is the application on the application form that you can find on this page, followed by a shortlisting and an interview with a program representative.

    The startups/entrepreneurs that get to this phase will have a final interview which will be with representatives from Metro Systems/Tech’n Trade.

  • After the program

    The aim is to develop a long standing business partnership and help you further after the program. By the end of the 3-months program, our aim to to see if we can sing a commercial partnership.

  • Just at the idea level for now?

    No problem, we’d be glad to sit with you and talk about your idea. If we agree to collaborate, you’ll participate in the same activities mentioned above in the hope to develop a long term partnership.
